Streetlight Restoration

Benefit Street is one of the most significant miles of historic architecture in the nation, and I'm so pleased to have been part of the team stewarding this important treasure. The Mile of History Association recently announced the completion the restoration of the streetlights along Benefit Street. This project involved years of careful planning, and I was pleased to advocate for this initiative and secure matching funds from the City. Community members and city staff have worked tirelessly to bring new light and life to the street while paying careful attention to the historic look and feel of this significant architectural landmark. Congratulations to all involved; I'm pleased that our years of work have resulted in these improvements to our own "living museum." Bravo!
