Seekonk River & Blackstone Park Grant

Recently members of the Seekonk River Alliance, The Blackstone Parks Conservancy, and Groundwork RI received a major grant from the Narragansett Bay Estuary Programto help clean stormwater runoff in the Seekonk River, and better connect Blackstone Park to the Boulevard, enabling better travel for bicyclist and pedestrians.  Big congratulations to the many area residents who have volunteered their time to this initiative. Wonderful to see such a collaboration among community groups, the Providence Parks Department, Planning Department and Department of Public Works. Stay tuned for opportunities to offer community input on the plans. Bravo!
