Lovecraft Film Festival

Born in Providence in 1890 H.P. Lovecraft was an American writer of weird, science, fantasy, and horror fiction who enjoys an active international fan base today. The H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival at Providence's Columbus Theater August 18-20 is 3 days of cosmic horror films from around the world on H. P. Lovecraft's birthday weekend. The festival also includes author readings, scholarly presentations and other events.
