Champion Trees

The RI Tree Council maintains a list of the state's Champion Trees. The Helen Walker Raleigh Champion Tree Program identifies trees considered culturally, historically and/or biologically notable throughout the state and invites the public to nominate trees they know. 

We created a map of the Champion Trees in Providence and encourage you to read the list of trees found on the beautiful grounds of Swan Point Cemetery. You can also consult an interactive map of the cemetery that include significant trees.
